Biography
Odunayo Olarewaju is resident at the Accounting department, Metro State University. She has more than 12 years of university/college teaching experience across Nigeria, South Africa, United Kingdom, and United States of America. She has been involved in extensive teaching, research, and community service activities. She has mentored or supervised undergraduate and graduate (masters, doctoral, and postdoctoral) students’ research on various research topics in Accounting and Finance to successful completion. To her credit, she has more than 75 publications (journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings) and she has successfully edited 4 books with diverse contributors from around the world.
Professionally, she is an associate member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants CPAs; a full member of American Accounting Association; a financial and managerial accounting associate (FMAA) under the Institute of Certified Management Accountants; a fellow chartered accountants—FCA under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN); fellow higher education academy, under the Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom; a business accountant in practice under the Southern African Institute for Business Accountant (SAIBA); and a chartered management accountant and chartered global management accountant under the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
