FIN 6601 Financial Management
This course offering for SCSU students only: This course focuses on the optimal management of the firm's assets and financing requirements. Topics covered include: financial decision making, financial markets, risk, valuation, long and short-term financing and investing. International and ethical implications are included, and extensive use of cases and spreadsheets is required.

- Apply the principles of asset pricing to price financial assets such as stocks and bonds.
- Analyze and evaluate investment projects.
- Evaluate the trade-off between risk and return, and apply financial models to estimate a fair return on investments.
- Assess the impact on firm value of alternative financing choices.
