The Art Exhibition Committee is pleased to announce the results of the 2025 Art Purchase Award. Four student works have been selected for acquisition: a printmaking collage by Katrina Barnett of Maple Grove; a digital painting by Kai Fleming of Minneapolis; a mural proposal by Aryn Lill of Monticello; and a digital painting by Richard Osuji of Saint Paul.
In an effort to encourage the growth and development of student and alumni studio artists and to elevate the profile of the arts on campus, Metropolitan State’s Art Exhibition Committee orchestrated four $1,000 purchases on the basis of artistic merit.
The placements of the works are yet to be established.
The 2025 Art Purchase Award was generously supported by the Alumni Association, the Student Senate, Academic Affairs, and the Office of the President.
